Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V)

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is used as part of the admissions process by Nursing and Allied Health schools nationwide.

The exam is computer-based and is offered on a drop-in basis. The exam takes approximately 3-1/2 hours to complete and covers material in the areas of reading, math, science and English.   Students must plan to begin this exam no later than 1:00 pm Monday — Thursday and before 9:00 am on Fridays. (The OC campus is closed on Friday from approximately mid-May to mid-August.) Testing candidates will need to have a current photo ID on the day of the exam.

The testing fee is split into two portions:

  1. $15.00 proctoring fee payable to OC at the Testing Center on the date you choose to test or you can schedule an exam appointment by utilizing our Marketplace
  2. AND a $55.00 testing fee payable directly to ATI, the owner of TEAS V, on their testing website by credit or debit card.

You will need to have your ATI account login information. If you have lost or forgot this information you will need to call ATI at 1-800-667-7531 to retrieve your credentials before you arrive at the Testing Center. While it is not required, it is highly recommended that you create an ATI account before your test day if you do not have one.

Printed results are available to the student at the conclusion of testing.

The Testing Center accepts checks, credit, debit, money orders and cash.
