EMSP Department has openings for part-time and
adjunct EMT and Paramedic instructors. Please
contact
Stephen Berry for more info.
Applications will be accepted at any time during the
year. However, if the application is more than 90 days
old before the desired program entry date, student must
contact the EMS department and update all relevant
information. All active applications on file will be
reviewed and letters of acceptance will be sent out
approximately 30 days prior to the beginning of class.
All documentation
necessary for program admission must be submitted to the
EMSP Department before an applicant can be accepted.
The EMSP department will not
accept any incomplete applications.
Program Accreditation Information:
The Odessa College EMS Program
follows the guidelines established by the Texas
Department of State Health Services EMS Division. The
Paramedic Program will
be seeking accreditation in 2012 by the Commission on
Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs,
CAAHEP (www.caahep.org) through the Committee on
Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency
Medical Services Professions, CoAEMSP
(www.coaemsp.org).
