 Graham Center Maintenance 20/week NWS / WS

Duties: General maintenance of grounds

Requirements: Outdoor work.

 Continuing Education Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: answer phones, run errands on campus, student registration, print certificates/rolls, pick up/deliver mail, & greet customers.

Requirements: Computer experience necessary

 Student Accounts Student Worker 15-20/week NWS/WS

Duties: Scan all Pell Grant invoices. Contacts students by email and phone to pick up any outstanding financial aid checks that remain in our office. Help student sign up on their payment plan. Deliver & pick up mail, answer phones, assist with accounting office as needed. Bilingual a plus

Requirements: Bilingual preferred

 Human Resources Student Worker 19/week WS

Duties: answer phones, run errands on campus, pick up/deliver mail, & greet customers. Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements: Great customer service skills, ability to file effectively.

Facility Contracts Mover 19/week NWS

Duties: An essential member of the Facility Contracts Department. The individual will participate in the moving, set-up and break down of a variety of events. Paid $9.00/Hr

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, in order to set and maneuver equipment and various materials; Ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of heavy and awkward materials.

Registrar's Office Office Worker 19/week  NWS/WS

Duties: Scanning and filing documents, answering telephones, other tasks as necessary.

Requirements: Computer experience necessary

Children's Center Substitute Teachers 20/week  WS

Duties: Working with children.

Requirements: Willing to obtain CPR certification, obtain a background check, sign up for FBI fingerprinting, have a current TB test, obtain 8 hour pre-service training for childcare.

Sports Center Lifeguard 19/week  WS/NWS

Duties: Guard pool, enforce facility policies, clean pool area as directed

Central Services Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Perform some printing functions such as hole punch, binding, learning to operate the Cannon Large Copier, sort mail.

Requirements:  Ability to lift 25 pounds.  Stock paper and supplies.  Varied hours.  Will work around schedule between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Purchasing & Accounts Payable Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Scan document, filing, answering phones, assist with shipping & receiving duties, various clerical duties.

Requirements:  Varied hours. Will work around schedule between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Children's Center Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Work with children in the classroom, run errands around campus, wash dishes (when needed), cleaning, office work, and other duties as assigned, etc.

Requirements: Must obtain the following: CPR/First Aide Certification, 8 hour pre-service child care training, pass a background check, be FBI fingerprinted, be free of active Tuberculosis, read the Minimum Standards for Childcare Manual, and be orientated for the position.

Ronald McDonald House Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Greet families, bake cookies, answer phones, restock supplies, clean family room, check families in/out for naps, check families in/out for overnight, computer work, and complete daily volunteer task list as well as task list compiled by Program Coordinator.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age.  Scheduled 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. in the Family Room at Medical Center Hospital

PC Services Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Working with computers and software and or secretarial.  Organize PC Services storage, wiping PC of old software, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Need to know about PC's and software - MUST BE RELIABLE.

Wi-Fi Cafe Student Worker 20/week WS/NWS

Duties: Greet and serve customers with a positive attitude; maintain a clean working environment; prepare and serve various drinks for customers; re-stock and replenish drinks, snack, and other products as needed; lift up to 10lbs. at a time; operate coffee machine, cappuccino machine, cash register and other machines as needed; carry yourself in a professional and timely manner; and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must be enrolled in classes at Odessa College while working.

Financial Aid Student Worker 19/week WS

Duties: Filing, answering incoming calls & student questions at the front counter, must have have Microsoft Word & Excel experience and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must be dependable and have good people skills. There will be a background check.

Hours are flexible according to student's class schedule.

White - Pool House Museum Student Worker 20/week NWS/WS

Duties: Welcoming visitors, assisting with tours of historical home, helping set up and dismantle rotating exhibits, aiding and assisting with scheduled events, and light office procedures such as answering telephones

Requirements: Will train, but prefer someone with an interest in history, professional appearance requested.

OC Math Lab Tutor Lab Tutor 19/week NWS

Duties: Tutor developmental and upper level Mathematics

Requirements: Maintain a 3.0 GPA. Need to have at least completed Pre-Calculus. Knowledgeable in OC math courses.

BookStore  Cashier/Data Entry 19/week NWS

Duties: Cashier  Monday thru Friday for 7 weeks/ Buy back Dec 10-13 during finals

Requirements: Technology savvy, Math skills, Attention to detail and Good customer service are all a plus

 Pecos Center AVID TUTOR 19/week WS

Duties: As assigned

Requirements: Must be at least a part time student, 3.0 GPA, must attend AVID tutor training in the Fall, must track all students served (documents will be sent in once/month by the 1st). Bilingual preferred.

 Student Success Center Lab Assistant/ Math Tutor 19/week NWS/WS/ PT

Duties: Provide assistance to students in the Student Success Center. The lab assistant also takes care of the front desk and answers the telephone.  Front desk duties include assisting students with the sign-in process to insure the accuracy of the AccuTrack usage data and the scheduling of tutoring appointment via phone or in person. Training is provided.

Requirements: Must be familiar with basic computer usage and various software applications

Student Life Wrangler Shuttle Driver 19/week WS/NWS

Duties: Provide pick-up/drop-off shuttle service for students between classes.  Run ongoing shuttle schedule across campus.  Other duties as assigned to include office errands and material pick-up/drop off. Provide driving tours as needed.

Requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to provide proof of insurance.  Must complete driver eligibility paperwork prior to starting work.
