ACT & SAT Testing
The ACT is
not required for admission to Odessa College.
The ACT assessment
is designed to assess high school students’ general
educational development and their ability to complete
college-level work. The tests cover four skill
areas: english, mathematics, reading and science
reasoning.Students may take
the test at OC and have the test results sent to
the colleges of their choice. Information concerning
registration, test dates and fees is available
at the ACT website www.actstudent.org.
OC administers
the ACT as a service to the community and surrounding
area, but the Testing Center does not set policy,
fees or test dates for ACT. Please contact
ACT directly if you have questions concerning the
test, or visit the website for additional information.

sets of skills, verbal and computational, through
a series of tests in reading, writing and mathematics.Students
may take the SAT at OC and have the test results
sent to colleges of their choice. Information concerning
