Throughout the second year of the project, Odessa College kept advancing in the expansion of access and quality of its distance learning programs. The table below lists the Year Two Activity Objectives and their current status.

Convert additional 6 EMSP and 1 Technical writing course to hybrid delivery |
Complete – EMSP courses were converted and evaluated using an online course evaluation rubric. Technical writing course was eliminated from the curriculum for health programs, as such was not developed as part of the grant.

Develop Nursing Preceptor Training with MCH |
Removed from Grant Objectives – MCH has a mandated community nursing preceptor training that was developed by one of their constituents.

Complete – Spring and Summer sessions regarding online pedagogy were delivered to 35 faculty. An additional 66 faculty and staff attended various other training sessions ranging from best practices in online instruction, to using web-based tools
