Odessa College’s campus was exceptionally busy on Monday, Aug. 20! The Odessa Career & Technical Early College High School (OCTECHS) and the Falcon Early College High School students started their first day of classes for the 2018-2019 school year. Director of Early College High Schools Gerardo Ramirez, OCTECHS Dean of Students Tyler Press, and Falcon Early College High School Dean of Students Rene Barrientes welcomed the students during orientation meetings in Deaderick Hall. Falcon ECHS students settled into their new school location in Deaderick Hall, and OCTECHS students filled their school’s classrooms in the Learning Resources Center. The two schools have a combined total student population of more than 600 students, and both schools have their first senior class who will graduate in May 2019.
