Odessa College students stopped by the LRC to learn how they could obtain a four-year degree.
The college hosted a BAAS Open House to answer any questions and demonstrate just how accessible and affordable a four-year degree can be from Odessa College.
OC faculty and staff were on hand to provide information to all individuals interested in learning how to begin the process of earning a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) degree in Automation, Entrepreneurship, or Occupational Safety and Health Management.
During the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) 123rd Annual Meeting, Odessa College received authorization to offer the BAAS degree in both Automation and in Leadership and Management, pending certification review and examination by a SACSCOC site visit team.
With the completion of the required certification process by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) site visit team this month, Odessa College is now certified, recognized and sanctioned to offer four-year baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degrees in certain disciplines and areas of study encompassed by the requirements of a degree in applied arts and sciences.
