The Finale of the Odessa College student success initiative, Drive to Success®, and the announcement of the student who will earn a new 2020 Ford Mustang has been postponed until the beginning of the 2020 fall semester.
OC students will continue to participate virtually in the Drive to Success®, earning points online until the end of the spring semester. On Tuesday, May 19, the top 10 students who have earned the most DTS points will be honored at the End of May event.
To qualify for Drive to Success®, a student must be taking at least six credit hours of course work and be in good standing with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and no major disciplinary violations. Odessa College wants to reward students for doing the right things. Drive to Success is the ULTIMATE incentive program to encourage student engagement by giving them the opportunity to earn prizes for doing things that are proven to increase overall success in college. Students not only have the opportunity to earn the Grand Prize of a Ford Mustang. Throughout the year, participants can also earn monthly prizes, typically valued between $100 and $500.
