The Odessa College Volleyball team will open the 2021 NJCAA D1 National Tournament on Thursday, April 15th at 11:15am. The Wranglers (24-2) received the #2 seed in the tournament and will play the #15 seed Yavapai College (12-5) out of Arizona in their opening round game.
Odessa and Yavapai have already played each other this season, the Wranglers won in straight sets back on February 6th in the Dalton Overstreet Invitational. Should Odessa win their opening match against Yavapai, OC would then play at 6pm Thursday evening in the Quarterfinals against the winner of Tyler (TX) and Northeastern (CO).
This is the second time in school history and the second consecutive year that the Odessa Volleyball Team has qualified for the NJCAA D1 National Tournament.
The 2021 NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championship will be played at the West Plains Civic Center in West Plains, MO April 15-17.
