The Odessa College Dance Team participated in the American Dance/Drill National Championships this past weekend in Denton, TX. The Blues won their 3rd straight National Championship for their hip-hop routine. This year OC competed in the pom and contemporary categorizes for the first time in school history. OC finished 3rd for their pom routine and 2nd in the contemporary routine.
The Blues compiled a total score of 285 for all three routines which placed Odessa College third overall in the two year college division for all three disciplines combined. The Blues combined score of 285 would have tied OC for third overall in the University Division with Baylor University, also at 285.
