Odessa College Leadership Institute

Forty-six representatives, including faculty, administration and presidents, from the Lone Star College System (Houston, TX), Grayson College (Denison, TX), Jackson College (Jackson, MI), and Ivey Tech Community College (a system of 32 campuses in Indiana) attended the Odessa College Leadership Institute (OCLI) High Impact Strategies Workshop. Odessa College administrators, faculty and staff immersed conference attendees in the OC experience and its student-focused culture, with the ultimate goal of enabling them to take back practices and strategies to impact rapid change on their own campuses.

As one of the most highly-awarded institutions of higher education in the nation, Odessa College has received numerous requests from colleges and universities seeking to learn more about the programs, strategies and techniques which have generated such well-documented levels of student success.

In response to the steadily-growing volume of these requests, Odessa College has developed a three-day interactive, instructional and informational workshop, appropriately named the OCLI High Impact Strategies Workshop. The OCLI High Impact Strategies Workshop will be held twice annually on the OC campus, once in the spring and once in the fall, and will host approximately 40 representatives from institutions of higher education seeking to emulate Odessa College’s success.
