Occidental Petroleum reached out to the Odessa College Instrumentation and Electrical Technology program for help in choosing students who could receive the Occidental Petroleum Recruitment Impact Scholarship.
Qualified students are required to be enrolled as a full-time student in the Instrumentation and Electrical Technology program seeking a certificate and associate degree.
They also must maintain a 2.5 GPA in their academic and technical courses and demonstrate good moral character, leadership, and a high work ethic. The final two recipients were approved by the I&E Technology department chair.
