A team from Onondaga College in Syracuse, NY visited Odessa College on September 27, 28 & 29 to learn more about the transition from traditional 16 week semesters to eight-week course terms, and the many corresponding benefits realized by students and faculty alike. The Onondaga team spent an intensive three days meeting with OC administration, faculty and staff, viewing a number of presentations and taking part in a variety of open discussions and Q&A sessions. At the end of three intensive days, all of the Onondaga team members agreed that "information overload" was approaching, but also agreed that they were very excited by the many new concepts and practices that were presented.
