The mathematics program at Odessa College focusus on providing students with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis. This is knowledge that can be applied in a broad variety of fields, including some of the nation's most lucrative and innovative professions such as: Buisness Analysis, Data Analysis, Engineer, Game Developer, Computer Scientist, and Informational Scientist. The South Plains Mathematics Fellows (SPMF) program provided for academically talented students from underrepresented, low-income families to receive scholarships for undergraduate study leading to a degree in mathematics. In addition to the standard coursework, SPMF scholars had a support system designed specifically to enhance their academic experiences and ensure retention and success.
