Events Calendar
Teachers and Community members can refer to our Google calendar to see upcoming community events that the Mobile Fab Lab will be attending. This is an opportunity to get information on what we offer, see the Mobile Lab in action, and attend community nights hosted by local businesses. The calendar also shows dates the Mobile Fab Lab is available for reservation. Odessa College Events take priority.
The calendar is updated on a daily basis. Reservations are added to the calendar as soon as they are confirmed by the Fab Lab team. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis.

Once an individual has confirmed what dates they would like to reserve the Mobile Fab Lab we will need them to fill out our Mobile Fab Lab Event Request form. Once the form is submitted, the Mobile Fab Lab Coordinator will be in contact to confirm the request and discuss logistics.
Community Outreach
We are currently available for campus visits and community events to present demonstrations of the equipment. Equipment training is offered for teachers and community members Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm-6:00pm by appointment only. Please email our Mobile Fab Lab Coordinator if interested.
Hours of Operation/Availability of Facilities
The Mobile Fab Lab Permian Basin is expected to remain on campuses for events from Monday morning to Thursday evening of the school week.
To see available dates refer to our Google Calendar. The Mobile Fab Lab is also available for community events for a fee.
Please contact our Fab Lab team at least two weeks in advance of the expected date of the event to discuss supplies needed and logistics.
The Mobile Fab Lab is not available on Sunday.

The Mobile Fab Lab Permian Basin, within the network and under the supervision of the Fab Foundation, has a standard platform which includes the suite of machines, materials, and equipment that can be found in our stationary lab at Odessa College.
This includes:

- MDX-20 Mini Mill
- 3D Printers
- Computers
- Software (SketchUp, Rhino, CorelDraw)
- Large Format Printer
- Electronics Workbench
- Small Tools Molding & Casting
- Silk Screening Materials
We also offer lessons plans that feature components of digital fabrication.
