Description: The Jack Rodgers Auditorium is a recital hall and concert space with seating for approximately 200 (chairs only configuration). The room has flexible seating and can accommodate concert-style, tables and chairs, or open floor plan. The small stage has lighting capabilities and perfect acoustics. A Steinway & Sons Concert Grand piano can be made available upon request.
Audio/Visual Capabilities: Presentation capabilities can be enhanced further by deploying a media cart and portable sound system. Media cart includes: cart, laptop, LCD projector, portable screen (if needed) and a power strip. Portable sound system includes: Seven channel mixing board with inputs for microphones and instruments with an auxiliary channel for smart phone/IPod and two 250 watt speakers.
Room Features: The recital hall features an intimate 28’x 26’ stage which is well-suited for various types of music recitals.
Limitations: Odessa College does not allow this room to be decorated with glitter or confetti, nor does it allow anything to be hung, tacked, or taped to the walls of this room. In addition all meetings or events that require food, beverages, or snacks must go through Great Western Dining, the sole food service provider for any event held on Odessa College property.
