Returning students will see their Student Success Coach on the 2nd Floor of the Saulsbury Campus Center on the OC campus (entrance at 201 W. University Blvd at Robertson Ave), or use the online system at http://webadvisor.odessa.edu/.

4.      How do I drop a class?

You may drop a class or change your schedule through your Student Success Coach in the Saulsbury Campus Center.  The best way to do this is either via email or by meeting in-person with your Coach. There is a $25 fee for changing your schedule after classes begin for the term.

Please Note:  Students may not drop OC classes online. Contact the Student Completion office at (432) 335-6433 or email them at StudentCompletion@odessa.edu.

5.      What happens if I don’t pay my bill?

If you do not pay your bill in full, have a payment plan established through Web Advisor, or have all tuition and fees covered by financial aid, you may be dropped from your classes.  It is the student's responsibility to verify that all obligations have been fulfilled, and to drop classes that you do not intend to attend.  Failure to attend does not result in an automatic drop from courses. Check WebAdvisor and your student email regularly for notices about payment options.

6.      What if I don’t know my student ID number?

Please see these instructions.

7.      How do I request an official transcript?

The preferred method is for your request to be made through Web Advisor.  Log in here: http://webadvisor.odessa.edu

You may also go to the Transcripts link at the top left of this page and use either the online form, or print, complete and mail the .pdf form to the Records Office.  Please be sure to include a copy of your photo ID for identification verification.

1. How do I find out what will transfer to another college or university?

If you are transferring to another college or university in the state of Texas, you can go to www.tccns.org to find out how your OC credits compare with courses taken at other Texas schools. Use the matrix available at that site to pull up side-by-side comparisons of courses offered at each school. You can also talk to your Student Success Coach (advisor) at Odessa College if you have any questions.  The Transfer Center staff also have information on transferring to institutions within the state of Texas.

If you are transferring to a school outside the state of Texas, we recommend that you speak to an advisor at that institution.
